Clinical Policies

  1. Ages 12 and older
  2. You must be physically located in Texas, Colorado, or Missouri at the time of the appointment
  3. Your pharmacy must be located in Texas, Colorado, or Missouri
  4. This Telehealth practice is unable to prescribe benzodiazepine-related medications (i.e., Ambien, Sonata, Ativan/lorazepam, Klonopin/clonazepam, Valium/diazepam, Xanax/alprazolam, and the like)
  5. Stimulant medication for ADHD or cognitive deficits secondary to Traumatic Brain Injury require the QBtech.com ADHD test, which can be done separately online. Patients are invited to participate in voluntary Detox research in which this same ADHD test from QBtech is used before and after removal of a neurotoxin from your body. I have no affiliation with QBtech.
  6. Stimulants are contraindicated in hypertension, tachycardia, bipolar disorder type one, and seizure disorder.
  7. You must be appropriate for outpatient care and for Telehealth, which means a period of recently demonstrated stability. True Telehealth isn’t appropriate for ongoing use for unstable patients with suicidal thoughts, hospitalization, mania, psychosis, delusions or paranoia.
  8. You need a smart phone or computer with microphone and camera and access to high speed internet to make Telehealth work.

  10. Once your an established patient, all communication with be HIPAA-secure using the patient portal. You can upload documents there so emails or social media accounts are not used. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
